Sometime, during the night of the UNC – Duke game, some thoughtless coward stole the famous “Surplus Sids” from the front of the closed business on 309 W. Main Street in Carrboro. Barry Keith, the long time owner of Surplus Sids is devastated and wants it back.

The store had to be closed in September of last year, due to the declining health of the long time owner, Barry Keith.

It’s a pretty big sign. It’s red. It’s made of wood. So, it is fairly heavy. Whoever took it didn’t stuff it in their backpack. Were you out and about on Saturday night, March 7th? Did you see a vehicle stopped next to the building? Let us know. Internet. Do your thing!
