We are publishing statements made during the May 24, 2023 public hearing on the Town’s housing choices proposal.
I am in support of this policy. We must remove restrictions on our housing if we are to build a sustainable future.
Sustainability, to me, means a future where we do not pollute our air with car usage, where our population tax base can pay for itself, and where new families and retirees can live in the same neighborhoods.
Restricting housing in most neighborhoods was a historic mistake to segregate America, and I hope the council will be part of correcting it. Thank you.
