Melody Kramer
Melody Kramer is a Peabody-award winning journalist whose work has appeared on NPR and member stations around the country, as well as in publications ranging from National Geographic to Esquire Magazine. She currently leads communications for a large academic research center. In previous roles, she led teams and projects in the federal government, at national and local media organizations, and for the Wikimedia Foundation, which runs Wikipedia. Outside of work, she volunteers as a reading tutor at Carrboro Elementary School, writes about journalism for a variety of publications, and serves as chair of the OWASA board of directors. She lives in Carrboro with her family.
