π Tomato Day at the Carrboro’s Farmer’s Market is coming on July 13. There will be over 70 different varieties of tomatoes, a huge Carrboro-wide raffle, samples of tomato dishes and recipes, tomato day zines!!, and limited-edition merch with this yearβs event design that looks like a tomato ice cream cone. This event is free and open to the public.

- Open to all enrolled students and anyone 18 years old or younger
- Offered Monday – Thursday from June 24 through August 9
- Closed July 4 and July 5
- Breakfast is served from 8-9 a.m.
- Lunch is served from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.
- Offered at two locations:
- FPG BilingΓΌe (101 Smith Level Road, Chapel Hill)
- Carrboro High (201 Rock Haven Road, Carrboro)
There are also Mobile Meal Delivery of lunches into neighborhoods on the same dates with menus that mirror the lunches served at the schools:
- Lunch is served at 30 minute scheduled stops at these neighborhoods:
- Craig St./Gomains Ave., 10:15 a.m.
- Oakwood, 10:45 a.m.
- Airport Gardens, 11:15 a.m.
- Colony Woods West, 11:45 a.m.
- South Estes, 12:15 p.m.
- Open to all enrolled students and anyone 18 years old or younger
- Participants must eat the food on site
