Splash Pad correspondent Mel Kramer with junior correspondents Asher (5) and Kai (4) here. We’ve been anxiously following the splash pad dealings in Chapel Hill and awaiting the day when we don’t have to drive to Burlington or Pittsboro to get our splash pad on. And now we need your help: The Town of Chapel Hill has held a few public information sessions about the accessible playground and the splash pad and they are asking us all to fill out this survey about amenities and location. It’s a VERY SHORT SURVEY in four languages:

English Survey

Burmese Survey

Chinese Survey

Espanol/Spanish Survey

In addition, the Town is holding virtual office hours three times this week to discuss the accessible playground and the splash pad:

This is a chance to weigh in on something that will be really great for all of our kiddos!

In the last municipal election cycle, we helped increase turnout by over 20 percent. We're all volunteers who care deeply about Chapel Hill and Carrboro, and we're working to make Chapel Hill and Carrboro more vibrant, accessible, fun, and sustainable.  Please consider a small donation to help us keep our digital lights on, host events, and hire students to do data deep-dives.
