We’ve noticed in our search traffic recently that a ton of people are searching the phrase “Jean Hamilton vs. Marilyn Carter.”
Both Hamilton and Carter are running to serve as District 1 County Commissioners. Hamilton is an incumbent; Carter is new.
However, we want to clarify: there are two seats available in District 1. Carter and Hamilton are the two people running for these seats. They’re not running against one another. They’re running to fill the two open seats. Your ballot will say “You may vote for TWO.” Here’s what it looks like:
